The saying goes, “Where
there is spiritual emotion there As one continues spiritual practice with faith, one starts developing spiritual emotion or
an intense love for God and intense awareness of His existence. It is emotion beyond the five senses, mind and intellect.
Gratitude and Bliss are awakened."
Wel-come to ISKCON, Hare Krishna, International
Society of Krishna Consciousness...
Here you'll learn all about Krishna and the knowledge He gives.
You already know a lot about Krishna's world, or
at least one part of it: the material world. You don't need an invitation to that world; you're already here. But we'd like
to introduce you to Krishna's other world, the spiritual one, where you can discover full knowledge and deep, eternal happiness.
The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON)
was established in 1966 by His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (Srila Prabhupada). ISKCON has since developed
into a worldwide confederation of 10,000 temple devotees and 250,000 congregational devotees.
Better known as the Hare Krishna movement, ISKCON is comprised
of more than 350 centres, 60 rural communities, 50 schools and 60 restaurants worldwide.
The mission of this nonsectarian, monotheistic movement is to
promote the well being of society by teaching the science of Krishna consciousness according to Bhagavad-gita and other
ancient scriptures.
Read on and find out about the seven aims that Srila Prabhupada set out for ISKCON.
